Join Leidos as an Environmental Engineer Supporting FAA

Leidos Civil NISC IV program seeks a skilled NEPA/EOSH Environmental Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK, to ensure a safe, compliant work environment for the Federal Aviation Administration. Champion the MMAC Environmental Occupational Safety & Health Management System (EOSHMS) aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform construction design reviews assessing soil disposal, site conditions via MMAC cleanup records, Oklahoma petroleum tank data, and surveys for Lead, PCB, Asbestos.
  • Execute environmental due diligence, cleanup reports, investigations, and remediation for contaminants like Chlorinated Organic Plume, PFAS, petroleum, industrial wastewater, selenium, and radioactive sites.
  • Deliver technical support for FAA environmental compliance, engineering expertise in pollution control, resource protection, federal/state laws, audits, and impact statements.
  • Support NEPA for project planning, environmental assessments for acquisitions, occupational hazards, and safety.
  • Audit EOSHMS, develop hazard controls, analyze field hazards as part of multidisciplinary teams, research materials, provide training, and document EMS/OSHMS initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline + 5 years experience, or Master’s + 3 years.
  • Experience in environmental cleanup and NEPA support/oversight.

  • Support environmental cleanup for Chlorinated Organic Plume, PFAS, petroleum, wastewater, selenium, and radioactive sites
  • Provide NEPA support for construction project planning and environmental reviews
  • Maintain MMAC EOSHMS per ISO 14001/45001 and perform audit support
  • Develop procedures to control occupational health hazards and environmental impacts
