Job Description

Lead Impactful Environmental Projects at Leidos

Leidos seeks an experienced Environmental Project Manager to drive federal environmental initiatives, including CERCLA/RCRA investigations, feasibility studies, remedial designs/actions, and long-term monitoring. This role offers flexibility with bases in Reston, VA; Twinsburg, OH; or fully remote across the US. Manage complex projects end-to-end, interfacing with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute projects per Leidos framework: track costs, P/L, schedules, metrics.
  • Lead teams across disciplines; define objectives and oversee deliverables like RI/FS reports, RODs, RD/RA plans.
  • Solve technical/regulatory challenges; procure/manage subcontractors.
  • Contribute to proposals with technical, management, risk strategies.
  • Present to agencies/public; travel for site visits (as needed).

Required Qualifications

  • BS/MS in technical field + 10-12 years environmental experience.
  • RD/RA expertise in landfills, coastal remediation (stabilization, dredging, dunes).
  • Stakeholder engagement with local/state/federal entities.
  • Proven management of staff, budgets, schedules; CERCLA/RCRA knowledge.
  • Strong communication; MS Office proficient; valid driver's license; US Citizen/PR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PE/PG (VA-licensed or reciprocal); PMP certification.
  • US Army BRAC/property transfer experience.

  • Support proposal development including technical solutions and estimates
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, health & safety programs
  • Present findings to clients, regulators, public; travel for site visits/meetings
