This role supports Independent Engineering (Lender’s Technical Advisory) and Owner’s Advisory services through environmental due diligence and reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in environmental topics for power generation and oil/gas projects.
  • Manage data requests and communicate effectively with Leidos teams and clients.
  • Evaluate client information, identify gaps, and coordinate resolutions.
  • Deliver reports and proposals on time and within budget.
  • Conduct essential site visits and collaborate across functions to achieve project success.

What Sets You Apart: Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/science with 8+ years in power/oil/gas facility development.
  • Deep experience in energy project environmental issues: T&E species, wetlands, cultural resources, wastewater.
  • Strong air quality permitting and dispersion modeling knowledge.
  • Familiarity with USEPA test methods, CEMS, Equator Principles, Phase I ESAs, SPCC, SWPPP.

  • Strong knowledge of air quality permitting and dispersion modeling (experience)
  • Familiarity with USEPA air quality emissions test methods and CEMS (experience)
  • Familiarity with Equator Principles, Phase I ESAs, SPCC plans, and SWPPPs (experience)
  • Demonstrated client relations and communication skills (experience)
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental due diligence and reviews for projects and portfolios
  • Develop and manage data requests, communicating with team and clients
  • Assess adequacy of client-provided information and identify issues
  • Prepare reports and proposals per standard operating procedures
  • Perform timely work within budget constraints
  • Conduct site visits as required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and resolve issues
  • Learn from project managers and SMEs to advance skills
