Join Leidos as an ETL Developer in Ashburn, VA
Leidos Homeland Sector seeks a skilled ETL Developer expert in Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and Databricks for the CBP Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD). Support DHS/CBP missions screening travelers at U.S. ports of entry. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Ashburn, VA twice weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design/develop/maintain ETL using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, Databricks.
- Build/optimize pipelines for diverse data sources.
- Collaborate on scalable ETL solutions.
- Ensure data quality/governance.
- Tune performance for high-volume transactions.
- Drive cloud migrations (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Troubleshoot integrations/workflows.
- Document processes thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS +12yrs, Master's +10yrs, or 4yrs experience sans degree.
- 10+ yrs ETL/data engineering.
- CBP BI eligibility.
- Informatica PowerCenter/IICS expertise.
- Databricks hands-on (PySpark/Delta Lake).
- SQL tuning across DBs.
- Cloud platforms experience.
- Data warehousing/modeling.
- APIs/JSON/XML.
- Scheduling tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active CBP BI.
- CBP PSPD experience.
- Kafka/Spark Streaming.
- CI/CD for ETL.
- Python/Scala/Shell.

- Optimize ETL jobs/pipelines for efficiency/scalability
- Support cloud migrations integrating Informatica with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Troubleshoot data integration/transformations/workflows
- Document ETL designs/processes/specifications
- Handle high-volume transactions ensuring scalability
