Expert Automated Tester

Join Leidos on a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting critical Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, and Digital Policy Management for a government customer in Chantilly, VA. As an Expert Automated Tester, you'll ensure secure, reliable IT systems through rigorous testing of access control systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design engineers, production teams, customers, and stakeholders to define verification methods for system, subsystem, and component requirements.
• Investigate and resolve issues escalated from customer support.
• Plan, manage, and track comprehensive project test efforts in DevOps pipelines.
• Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and reports for integration and user acceptance testing.
• Oversee and execute testing post-deployment using automated techniques.
• Leverage JUnit and tools like Selenium or Katalon for script creation and execution.
• Produce test reports and document outcomes of all procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and participate in quality control enhancements.
• Engage directly with customers, cross-functional teammates, and peer groups.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years experience (additional experience may substitute for degree).
• Proven expertise in test automation (Selenium, Katalon) and full software lifecycle.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
• Experience in matrixed teams with ability to work independently and innovate in troubleshooting.

Desired Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with Flyway, COTS platforms, highly sensitive data, unit testing, SecDevOps, and AWS.
