Job Description

Expert Systems Administrator

Join Leidos in Chantilly, VA, on a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting critical Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, and Digital Policy Management. Design, develop, implement, and maintain a Cloud-Native Service Architecture leveraging AWS capabilities for software development teams. Modernize IT systems with industry standards, ensuring secure, reliable 24/7 availability. Provide technical guidance to implementation teams and support on-call rotation (1 week every 2 months).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative products/services addressing customer requirements in AWS environments.
  • Develop enterprise software solutions with AWS, using infrastructure-as-code.
  • Perform security patching and server support in AWS.
  • Provide execution guidance for mission teams and ensure 24/7 application operations.
  • Support COTS LDAP services for attribute data across sponsor systems.
  • Excel in communication, design, documentation, and Agile/Scrum workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • BS degree + 12+ years experience (or equivalent).
  • Expert Linux/Bash, AWS, security accreditation, Elastic tools, DevOps (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Agile experience, on-call support, cross-functional collaboration.

Desired Qualifications

  • AWS Associate certification, LDAP, C2S (3+ years), CloudFormation, Tomcat, NGINX.
  • IAM/IdAM/ICAM knowledge, containerization, Ansible, JavaScript, SQL.
