Leidos is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to ensure the availability, reliability, and operational integrity of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) supporting critical infrastructure and mission-critical environments. This hands-on role demands a technical expert who thrives in high-stakes settings, leading on-site operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving system excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee deployment, operation, and monitoring of ICS to minimize downtime in critical infrastructure.
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics, root cause analysis, and rapid troubleshooting for system malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC teams for seamless ICS integration.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specs, and documentation to validate designs and implementations.
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs on reliability, incident response, and best practices.
  • Build vendor relationships to manage support, warranties, and system upgrades.
  • Drive procedural and policy changes for site-wide consistency and compliance.
  • Support high-impact projects in systems integration, administration, and field operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and emerging ICS technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5-8 years relevant experience.
  • Proven ICS experience in high-availability environments.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, or HVAC background with ICS integration.
  • Technical training creation and delivery expertise.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and vendor management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • System administration, integration, or network experience in critical settings.
  • Microsoft Windows and industrial automation software familiarity.
