Leidos is seeking a hands-on Field Operations Specialist to ensure the availability, reliability, and operational integrity of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) supporting critical infrastructure and mission-critical environments. This role demands a technical expert who thrives in high-stakes settings, driving continuous uptime and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee deployment, operation, and monitoring of ICS to minimize downtime in critical infrastructure.
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics, root cause analysis, and rapid troubleshooting for system malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC teams for seamless ICS integration.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to validate designs.
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs on reliability, incident response, and best practices.
  • Build vendor relationships for technical support, warranties, and system upgrades.
  • Implement policy and procedural changes for site-wide consistency and compliance.
  • Contribute to high-impact projects in systems integration, administration, and field operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and emerging ICS technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • US citizen eligible for TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5-8 years relevant experience.
  • Proven ICS support in high-availability environments.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, or HVAC background with ICS integration.
  • Experience creating and delivering technical training.
  • Excellent communication, technical documentation, and vendor management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • System administration, integration, or network installation in critical settings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, industrial automation software.
  • Knowledge of configuration management, document control, system lifecycle.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA.
  • ITIL or service management practices.
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara N4, BACnet, Modbus, DG Logik, Ignition.
