Leidos has an immediate need for a Field Service Engineer to lead teams and deliver expert technical support for complex timing and synchronization networks. This role spans transport, IP, DC power infrastructure, SATCOM, RF, and GPS systems across diverse environments. As a subject matter expert, you'll survey sites, design solutions, procure equipment, install systems, test deployments, and ensure long-term sustainment while meeting strict SLAs and AQLs in a fixed-price environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop MOPs, MBOMs, TSIPs, and detailed project packages including CADD drawings, BOMs, and power requirements.
  • Perform complex site surveys to assess preparedness, plan implementations, and estimate costs.
  • Coordinate installations, activations, deactivations, and IT&A with stakeholders, facilities, and carriers.
  • Oversee upgrades, de-installs, and expansions; troubleshoot issues and recommend enhancements.
  • Update master redline drawings, brief leadership, and ensure on-time delivery of customer-ready reports.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Experience briefing Government customers.
  • Proficiency in network timing/synchronization, SATCOM, RF, GPS, and DISN equipment.
  • Strong project management, communication, and travel readiness.

  • Develop MOPs, MBOMs, TSIPs, and engineering project packages with CADD drawings and BOMs
  • Conduct in-depth site surveys, assess preparedness, and create implementation plans with cost estimates
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, facilities, carriers for installations, activations, deactivations, and IT&A
  • Oversee de-installations, upgrades, and future site expansions; facilitate site acceptance
  • Troubleshoot issues, recommend enhancements, update redline drawings, and provide technical support
  • Prepare project plans, schedules, WBS, status reports; brief leadership on progress and issues
  • Ensure consistent processes, meet SLAs/AQLs, and submit administrative tasks on time
