Leverage our technical strengths and R&D to combat emerging threats. This Field Service Technician I role in Kailua Kona, HI, supports 24/7 operations with domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment.
- Conduct on-site testing and isolate startup malfunctions for corrective action.
- Manage schedules and resources to meet contractual SLAs.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments in customer environments, including 24/7 on-call response.
- Update work orders in Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU CRM systems.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years in electrical/electronic field repair or equivalent trade/military experience.
- MS Office proficiency and ability to learn specialized software.
- Strong communication, customer focus, and teamwork skills.
- TSA eQIP background check clearance.
- Travel readiness at short notice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull 200 lbs, and maneuver 1000 lbs with equipment.
- Work safely in extreme environments (heat, humidity, confined spaces).
- Self-motivated with proven reliability under stress.
Physical Demands
Frequent bending, stooping, and full body mobility required around industrial equipment.
