This Field Service Technician I role supports Aviation Solutions, Ports & Borders, and Global Services divisions through hands-on field support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform customer support for installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment.
- Conduct on-site testing to ensure operational integrity and isolate startup malfunctions.
- Execute semi-routine assignments, recognizing deviations from standards.
- Manage schedules and resources to meet contractual SLAs in 24/7 environments.
- Update work orders in Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU systems.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years in electrical/electronic field repair or equivalent trade/military experience.
- MS Office proficiency and ability to learn specialized software.
- Excellent communication, customer focus, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel at short notice and pass TSA eQIP background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in high-stress customer environments.
- Physical capability: lift 50 lbs, push/pull 200 lbs, maneuver heavy equipment safely in extreme conditions.
