Leidos Intel Sector seeks highly skilled instructors fluent in Chinese or Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian to deliver mission-critical language training for national security. Key Responsibilities
- Provide 3–5 hours of daily instruction across ILR levels 0–3, focusing on speaking and cultural communication.
- Become a certified tester, conducting 3–4 proficiency assessments weekly.
- Develop tailored materials, training aids, and stay abreast of current events in target regions.
- Work under senior instructors while completing sponsor-mandated certification training.
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s in education/foreign language/linguistics + 8–12 years experience, or Master’s + 2–10 years (substitutions possible). Minimum 2 years teaching.
- Language Skills: ILR 4/4/4+ in speaking/listening/reading; pass 3-hour Leidos translation test (score 4+).
- Technical: MS Office proficient; excellent English and target language communication.
- Clearance: No clearance needed to apply; must obtain fully adjudicated TS/SCI with polygraph (Leidos sponsors post-language tests).
Preferred Qualifications
- U.S. Intelligence Community, military, or law enforcement experience.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
