Key Responsibilities
- Provide 3–5 hours daily instruction across ILR levels 0–3.
- Certify as language tester and conduct 3–4 proficiency assessments weekly.
- Teach speaking, listening, reading, and cultural nuances via communication.
- Develop tailored materials and aids for student needs.
- Maintain knowledge of current events in target regions; complete sponsor-specific training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in education/foreign language/linguistics + 8–12 years experience, or Master’s + 2–10 years (experience may substitute degree).
- 2+ years direct teaching experience.
- ILR 4/4/4 proficiency; pass 3-hour Leidos translation test (score 4+).
- Excellent English and target language communication; MS Office proficient.
- Able to obtain fully adjudicated TS/SCI with polygraph (sponsored post-language tests).
Preferred Qualifications
- U.S. Intelligence Community, military, or law enforcement experience.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
