Leidos Homeland Sector seeks a Full Stack Developer with expertise in systems, software, cloud, and Agile to support critical Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD). Enable DHS missions screening travelers at U.S. ports of entry through agile development and operations/maintenance of high-stakes systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, real-time, highly available systems collaboratively.
- Exercise judgment to recommend designs aligning with business goals, timelines, and resources.
- Lead SDLC phases: scope/work estimation, architecture, design, coding, unit testing.
- Thrive in Agile Scrum and SecDevOps delivering mission-critical enhancements.
Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA +12 years, Master’s +10 years, or 4 years experience sans degree.
- U.S. Citizen; CBP Background Investigation required.
- Agile/Scrum + SecDevOps; Konvoy containerization.
- 3+ years cloud apps/migration; 2+ years Java/JSF/JS/Spring/Selenium.
- 2+ years 2+ of React/Angular/Redux/HTML/CSS/JSX/Bootstrap/ES6/JWT/JSON/Babel/Webpack/Axios/NPM/Node.
- Expertise: Java/JS (DOM), React/Angular principles, Microservices/REST APIs, Axios, HTML/CSS/Bootstrap, JWT.
Preferred Qualifications
- Redux session management, ES6, Babel/Webpack/NPM/Node.
- Benchmarking/optimization; AWS Developer/Solutions Architect certs.
- Active CBP BI; Google Cloud experience.
This role requires on-site presence in Ashburn, VA twice weekly. Pay Range: $131,300 - $237,350 USD/year. Leidos outpaces the status quo—disrupt with us on vital national security missions.
