The Leidos Defense Sector seeks a Global Trade ITAR Compliance Manager for a hybrid role in Huntsville, Alabama. Serve as a trusted advisor to program teams, navigating ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and Customs regulations to ensure compliant, efficient execution. Report to the Director of Global Trade Management and collaborate daily with management, contracts, engineering, supply chain, proposals, customers, and partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as focal point for Global Trade guidance, including ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and Customs.
- Draft Department of State licenses, TAAs, ITAR exemptions; DoC licenses, EAR exceptions.
- Manage authorizations in Leidos’ systems and review IBRB routings.
- Deliver training, adjudicate travel/visitors/shipments, conduct screenings.
- Review export-controlled info, prepare reports, support projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 5-8 years export/import experience (substitutable).
- ITAR/EAR proficiency, trade tools experience.
- Top Secret clearance (active/eligible), MS Office expertise.
- Detail-oriented, communicative, collaborative, ethical problem-solver.

Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on Global Trade regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC, Customs)

- Draft DoC license applications and EAR exceptions

- Review IBRB routings for trade compliance

- Prepare weekly/monthly reports and support projects
