Join Leidos as a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Engineer

Leidos delivers innovative solutions for critical intelligence community missions. We're seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with deep expertise in operating systems, hardware, GPUs, and high-speed networking to design, develop, and optimize GPU clusters powering enterprise AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • GPU Cluster Engineering: Design, configure, and maintain GPU clusters. Collaborate on architectures for performance, power efficiency, and features.
  • Operating System Integration: Ensure seamless GPU integration with Linux systems. Optimize drivers for compatibility, reliability, and performance.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and enhance efficiency across hardware/software.
  • Tooling and Automation: Develop debugging tools, profiling utilities, and automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, Salt.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain docs, specs, and best practices. Support ATO and federal security standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's+ in relevant field with 12+ years experience (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years systems engineering.
  • NVIDIA GPU platforms (DGX, HGX, H200, H100, L4s).
  • Enterprise servers, Linux expertise (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.).
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II+, TS/SCI with Poly (or willingness), US Citizenship.

Preferred Skills

  • Kubernetes, AI/ML orchestration (Argo, Airflow, Kubeflow).
  • GPU virtualization, cloud computing, Prometheus/Grafana, Slurm.

  • Design, configure, and maintain GPU clusters for enterprise AI
  • Integrate and optimize GPU drivers in Linux-based systems
  • Analyze GPU performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve efficiency
  • Build debugging tools, profiling utilities, and automation scripts
  • Maintain documentation, support ATO, and ensure federal security compliance
