Join Leidos as a Help Desk Support Specialist (Tier 1) in Orlando, FL

The Decision Advantage Business Area at Leidos seeks a skilled Help Desk Specialist (Tier 1) to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network infrastructure in our Orlando, FL office. This hands-on, onsite role involves day-to-day help desk operations and contributing to the long-term maturation of complex systems. Work under moderate supervision on routine tasks while resolving issues with prescribed solutions in a collaborative team environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming Help Desk calls, emails, and requests with professional courtesy.
  • Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 issues, including data communications problems.
  • Accurately log tickets, track incidents through their lifecycle, and escalate complex matters.
  • Schedule customer testing events and generate reports from Help Desk tools.
  • Support Air Force Advanced Battle Management System and collaborate with vendors, government, and carriers.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, create knowledge articles, and communicate updates effectively.
  • Demonstrate active listening, research customer needs, and work flexible hours as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field + 1 year relevant experience (or equivalent).
  • Active Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ (or DoD 8140 Intermediate).
  • Experience with MS Office/M365, customer support, and handling sensitive government data.
  • Team-oriented with US Government program exposure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on M365 experience and prior help desk/call center roles.
  • Working with US government customers.
