Join Leidos' Decision Advantage Team as Help Desk Tier 2/3

Leidos seeks experienced Help Desk Tier 2 and Tier 3 professionals for our Orlando, FL office supporting Department of the Air Force Battle Network infrastructure. This 100% onsite role requires an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility. Compensation matches experience level in the $59,150-$106,925 range.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth incident analysis on escalated Tier 1 alerts, investigating malware, phishing, and intrusions.
  • Proactively hunt threats using IoCs, APT detection, and threat intelligence feeds.
  • Monitor networks and SIEM platforms for anomalies, correlating events for pattern detection.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments with Nessus/Qualys/OpenVAS and drive remediation.
  • Manage escalations, document incidents comprehensively, and produce post-incident reports.
  • Verify security tools, ensure log ingestion, prioritize incidents by impact, and update procedures.

Basic Qualifications

Tier 2: Bachelor's + 2-4 years or Master's + <2 years; Security+, CEH, Cisco CyberOps, Microsoft Security certs.

Tier 3: Bachelor's + 4-8 years or Master's + 2-6 years; same certifications required.

All candidates need MS Office/M365 experience, customer-facing skills, and handling of sensitive Government data. Work under moderate supervision, attend daily briefings, and contribute to system maturation.

  • Analyze escalated Tier 1 security incidents and perform root cause analysis
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting using IoCs and threat intelligence
  • Monitor network traffic and logs via SIEM for anomalies
  • Manage escalations to Tier 3/management with detailed documentation
  • Perform vulnerability scans and collaborate on remediation
  • Verify security tools, logs, and alerts ingestion
  • Document incidents, prepare reports, and update policies/procedures
  • Attend briefings on threats, updates, and operational goals
