Leidos National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) seeks a skilled HVAC Technician for night shifts in Augusta, GA. Support critical national security missions through expert facilities maintenance in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations, SIGINT, and Cryptographic Key Management. Work 12-hour shifts, including some holidays, in a dynamic environment that demands precision and reliability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, modify, and install HVAC systems including refrigeration compressors, condensers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, valves, and expansion devices.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on refrigeration, heating, ventilating units, and evaporative coolers; perform adjustments and repairs.
- Diagnose and replace defective components such as thermostats, switches, motors, relays, filters, belts, heat exchangers, and safety valves.
- Utilize hand/power tools, welder torches, vacuum pumps, test equipment, and vehicles; ensure safe, effective condition of all tools.
- Execute electrical maintenance, motor connections, and ancillary tasks like carpentry, plumbing, sheet metal work for comprehensive facilities support.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in HVAC installation/maintenance or building maintenance.
- Eligible for TS/SCI clearance.
- Available for 12-hour night shifts and holidays.
