Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full incident management lifecycle: record, classify, and restore IT services swiftly. Analyze trends to eliminate root causes, produce performance reports, and initiate proactive fixes for network interruptions. Facilitate technical meetings, postmortems, and root cause governance. Manage Major Incidents as the primary point of contact, escalating to Tier 2/3 teams, verifying resolutions in ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Remedy, and ensuring SLA/OLA compliance. Create knowledge articles, document troubleshooting, and associate incidents with changes, problems, and known errors. Expect travel to remote sites at least biannually.

Required Skills & Qualifications

DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance, ITIL expertise in Incident/Problem/Change Management, and hands-on ITSM experience. Excel in autonomous work, high-pressure coordination, trend analysis, and root cause resolution. Strong communication, analytical skills, and familiarity with enterprise IT, networks, and systems administration required. 10+ years experience (Bachelor's +6, Associate's +8, HS +10).

  • Major Incident bridge management and cross-team coordination under pressureintermediate
  • Analytical and root cause problem-solving skillsintermediate
  • Incident trend analysis reporting and proactive recommendationsintermediate
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, system administration, and enterprise ITintermediate

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years combined experience/education: Bachelor's + 6 years, Associate's + 8 years, or HS + 10 years (experience)
  • Demonstrated ITIL best practices in Incident and Problem Management (experience)
  • Proven experience generating and interpreting incident trend reports (experience)
  • Ability to travel to remote locations at least once every six months (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and report incident trends to eliminate root causes and prevent service interruptions
  • Produce statistics and reports on repeat incidents, process performance, and SLA adherence
  • Record, classify, assign, and own incidents throughout lifecycle using ITSM tools
  • Facilitate technical meetings, postmortem investigations, and root cause governance
  • Escalate and manage Major Incidents as primary point of contact, verifying resolutions
  • Create knowledge articles, document troubleshooting, and associate related records
  • Monitor queues to ensure SLA/OLA compliance and coordinate Tier 2/3 support
