Support electronics, mechanical, or platform integration facilities by developing processes for fabrication, machining, welding, painting, and assembly. Provide expertise in facility layouts, work balancing, and manufacturing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute capacity planning and Make vs. Buy analysis.
  • Build process flows with simulation tools.
  • Design safe, efficient work center layouts.
  • Apply lean principles for process improvements.
  • Maintain AutoCAD facility layouts.
  • Develop visual metrics for production constraints.
  • Standardize IE procedures across sites.
  • Analyze plant capabilities and bottlenecks.
  • Optimize machining via capacity studies.
  • Lead Kaizen events and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Top Level/Rough Cut Capacity Planning and support Make vs. Buy decisions
  • Develop process flows/roadmaps using simulation tools with manufacturing team inputs
  • Design work center layouts ensuring safety and on-time delivery
  • Analyze Eng Standards vs Actual Run Times to improve process efficiency
  • Develop and maintain facility layouts in AutoCAD
  • Create production constraint visual controls and metrics
  • Develop standard processes and operating procedures for Industrial Engineering teams
  • Conduct machine capacity analyses to enhance machining efficiency
  • Participate in Lean Improvement Events, Kaizen Blitz, and workshops
  • Collaborate with quality and production teams on corrective actions
