Core Responsibilities

  • Implement cybersecurity policies aligned with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, JSIG, and DoD regulations.
  • Manage system security documentation including SSPs, risk assessments, SCTMs, and POA&Ms.
  • Perform vulnerability scans using ACAS, Tenable/Nessus; analyze audit logs with Splunk.
  • Coordinate ATO, continuous monitoring, incident response, and system decommissioning.
  • Track remediation, support inspections, and deliver security awareness training.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+.
  • 3-5+ years in cybersecurity with DoD classified systems experience.
  • Expertise in eMASS, STIGs, SCAP, Windows/Linux, and networking principles.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF editing tools.

  • Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies (experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Professional (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies for assigned systems
  • Develop and maintain SSPs, risk assessments, SCTMs, and POA&Ms
  • Conduct vulnerability scans, audit log reviews, and security assessments
  • Coordinate ATO processes, continuous monitoring, and incident response
  • Ensure compliance with NIST RMF, JSIG, and DoD frameworks
  • Provide security guidance to users and track system access
  • Support customer inspections and recommend threat mitigations
