Leidos Digital Modernization Sector seeks a skilled Hunt Analyst for the HEITS Contract under DHS Insider Threat Program (ITP), supporting CISA. Protect the homeland by identifying insider threats through advanced analytics, monitoring, and data correlation. Evolve the ITP backbone in a high-impact role.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze insider threat data to uncover trends, patterns, and potential indicators.
- Monitor UAM/UEBA platforms, triage critical alerts (4-hour response M-F 6am-10pm), coordinate enterprise responses.
- Leverage behavioral analytics to detect, investigate, and mitigate malicious insider activity.
- Produce detailed analytical reports and conduct liaison with DHS/CISA stakeholders.
- Implement corrective actions for alerts and support after-hours as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's +12 years or Master's +10 years relevant insider threat experience.
- 10+ years in intelligence processes, research tools, security/counterintelligence analysis.
- TS/SCI clearance (US Citizen), DHS EOD SCI eligible, CI Polygraph willing.
- Expertise in UAM software, cybersecurity tools, open-source intelligence, insider threat frameworks (Pathway to Violence, Critical Pathway).
- Strong analytical/critical thinking, communication skills for diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or Cybersecurity.
- 10+ years Intelligence Analysis experience.
- CCITP-F/A certifications, CDSE ITDAC, WAVR-21, INT311/312/CI201 courses.
- Hands-on UAM platform experience.

- Detect, investigate, and mitigate anomalous activity and policy violations
- Author analytical and threat reports to address insider threats
- Conduct liaison with DHS/CISA counterparts to deter and mitigate threats
- Provide after-hours support (6am-10pm M-F)
