Insider Threat Program Hunt Team CISA Analyst
Join Leidos' Digital Modernization Sector supporting the DHS Insider Threat Program (ITP) for CISA under the HEITS Contract. Protect the homeland by identifying and mitigating insider threats through advanced analytics, monitoring, and data correlation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze insider threat data to uncover trends, patterns, and potential indicators of compromise.
- Operate UAM/UEBA tools: monitor platforms, triage high-risk alerts (4-hour response M-F 6am-10pm), and coordinate enterprise responses.
- Leverage behavioral analytics to detect, investigate, and mitigate malicious insider activities and policy violations.
- Produce detailed analytical reports and threat assessments.
- Liaise with DHS/CISA stakeholders to deter and neutralize threats.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's +12 years or Master's +10 years relevant insider threat experience.
- 10+ years in intelligence processes, research tools, security/counterintelligence analysis.
- TS/SCI clearance (US Citizen); DHS EOD SCI and CI Polygraph eligible.
- Expertise in UAM, cybersecurity tools, open-source intelligence, and frameworks like Pathway to Violence.
- Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and independent initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or Cybersecurity.
- 10+ years Intelligence Analysis experience.
- CCITP-F/A, CDSE ITDAC, WAVR-21, INT311/312/CI201 certifications.

- Monitor UAM/UEBA tools, triage critical/high-risk alerts within 4 hours (6am-10pm M-F)
- Detect, investigate, and mitigate anomalous activity and policy violations
- Author analytical and threat reports to address insider threats
- Conduct liaison with DHS/CISA counterparts to deter, detect, and mitigate threats
- Provide after-hours support and implement corrective actions
