Leidos seeks a seasoned Information System Security Officer (SME) for the DHS Insider Threat Program (ITP) under the HEITS Contract. Onsite at Nebraska Avenue Complex (9am-5pm, no remote), safeguard the homeland by identifying insider threats via advanced analytics, monitoring, and data correlation.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer security integrations for external/insider threats & cyber ops; resolve UAM issues within 48 hours (acknowledge in 1 hour).
- Execute weekly vulnerability scans per FISMA; notify owners/ISSOs & analyze results.
- Lead assessments: define scope, test plans, ROE, approvals, reports & briefings.
- Deliver quarterly scan coverage reports & monthly technical analyses.
- Support ATO/ATC/IATT reviews, baseline compliance & accreditation scheduling.
- Maintain BOE docs, update for patches/changes & collaborate with gov't staff.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 12-15 years or Master’s + 8-10 years relevant experience.
- Superior communication; technical doc/briefing expertise.
- DHS EOD SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s in IT/Engineering.
- 10+ years IA management; Security+ cert.
- RMF/ICD-503 mastery; IC accreditation experience.
