Join Leidos as an Integration and Test Engineer on FAA's ERAM Program

Leidos is seeking a talented Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration’s En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) technology. ERAM is the core of the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen), powering the National Airspace System's shift from ground-based to satellite-based air traffic management. This critical platform enables FAA modernization initiatives like System Wide Information Management, Data Communications, and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast, delivering enhanced air traffic flow for users and the public.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Test Approaches and Procedures to verify system requirements.
  • Integrate new hardware/software into the baseline, create and run Regression Test Procedures.
  • Build scenarios simulating realistic air traffic conditions.
  • Collaborate with FAA stakeholders on requirements, use cases, and design.
  • Provide Systems Engineering support across development, integration, and test phases.
  • Develop test tools and analyze data for design validation.
  • Work in Waterfall methodology; expect off-shift/weekend duties and security clearance requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • US Citizen eligible for Public Trust clearance.
  • Proven technical integration experience with complex systems.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability for overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AI/ML familiarity via projects.
  • Hands-on integration/test in complex developments.
  • Full software lifecycle experience supporting critical missions.
  • FAA NextGen/National Airspace knowledge.
  • Linux, C++, Java expertise.
  • Leadership, analytical, and organizational strengths.
