Join Leidos as an Integration and Test Engineer on FAA's ERAM Program
Leidos is seeking a talented Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration’s En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) technology. ERAM is the core of the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen), powering the National Airspace System's shift from ground-based to satellite-based air traffic management. This critical platform enables FAA modernization initiatives like System Wide Information Management, Data Communications, and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast, delivering enhanced air traffic flow for users and the public.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Test Approaches and Procedures to verify system requirements.
- Integrate new hardware/software into the baseline, create and run Regression Test Procedures.
- Build scenarios simulating realistic air traffic conditions.
- Collaborate with FAA stakeholders on requirements, use cases, and design.
- Provide Systems Engineering support across development, integration, and test phases.
- Develop test tools and analyze data for design validation.
- Work in Waterfall methodology; expect off-shift/weekend duties and security clearance requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- US Citizen eligible for Public Trust clearance.
- Proven technical integration experience with complex systems.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability for overtime.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI/ML familiarity via projects.
- Hands-on integration/test in complex developments.
- Full software lifecycle experience supporting critical missions.
- FAA NextGen/National Airspace knowledge.
- Linux, C++, Java expertise.
- Leadership, analytical, and organizational strengths.
