Interactive Design Lead
Join Leidos as an Interactive Design Lead in Reston, VA, where you'll design, build, and own interactive experiences powering digital, experiential, and customer-facing storytelling. This hands-on leadership role shapes enterprise-wide interaction models for web, real-time, immersive, and hybrid environments. Partner with Creative Studio, Digital Technology, Brand Experiences, and external teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, production-ready interactive storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build interactive platforms across web-based systems and real-time/immersive environments using React frameworks, Unity, Unreal, or equivalents.
- Establish reusable interaction patterns, experience components, and conventions scaling multiple use cases.
- Own interaction models, user journeys, and architecture for complex narrative initiatives, translating brand standards into coherent experiences.
- Develop prototypes and production-ready experiences, validating feasibility, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with technologists and designers to scale delivery; mentor through example and standards without direct people management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in design, computer science, digital media or related; 10+ years in interactive design and creative technology (additional experience substitutes for degree).
- Proven web and immersive platform experience; expertise in UX, interaction design, narrative experiences.
- Hands-on with React, Unity/Unreal.
