Join Leidos as an Intern in Business Energy Efficiency Programs

Leidos is seeking a passionate intern to join the Hawaii Energy program team in Honolulu, HI. This role offers hands-on experience helping businesses navigate energy efficiency programs, process rebate applications, and support program operations. Gain exposure to energy-efficient technologies in buildings while contributing to Hawaii's clean energy goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide businesses on energy efficiency for systems like lighting, HVAC, appliances, refrigeration, and water heating.
  • Offer technical support for rebate applications, clarifying eligibility and documentation.
  • Process applications in Salesforce, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Verify equipment specifications and certifications.
  • Perform site visits, inspect installations, and report findings.
  • Support utility account segmentation and geocoding with public data and APIs.
  • Network with stakeholders including partners, distributors, contractors, and businesses.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in business-related degree program at accredited institution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; data analysis experience a plus.
  • Strong multitasking, detail-oriented, independent and team player.
  • Excellent communication for customer and stakeholder engagement.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, and physical ability for field work.
  • Commitment to Hawaii Energy's mission and local business knowledge.
