Job Description

ISP/OSP Specialist – Guam

Join Leidos' Defense & Intelligence Group supporting the Navy’s SMIT OCONUS program in Guam. Provide critical pier-side IT services to US Navy vessels across Asia, maintaining one of the world's largest networks serving 400,000+ devices and 600,000+ users at 1,600+ CONUS and 82 OCONUS sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver connect/disconnect services for vessels arriving/departing piers within strict service targets.
  • Repair, test, clean, and maintain Navy Umbilical Cable Assemblies (UCAs) using specialized tools and protective equipment.
  • Update UCA inventory tracker and log daily activities in ticketing systems with proper shift pass-downs.
  • Monitor vessel schedules and respond rapidly to support fleet operations.
  • Travel regionally to perform UCA repairs and maintenance.
  • Contribute to SOP development for fiber optic testing, repair, and connect/disconnect procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma + 1-3 years IT experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance.
  • Eligible for 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNA Security).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Network certifications (CCNA, Network+, JNCIA).
  • Fiber certifications (BICSI, FOA, ETA).
  • Prior military/contractor experience with pier-side UCA/WPCS services.
  • ISP/OSP fiber cabling, hardware troubleshooting, point-to-point connections, Microsoft 365 expertise.
