IT Solution Architect - Leidos LCST Programme
Join Leidos as an IT Solution Architect on the Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) programme in Bristol. Lead the design and delivery of complex end-to-end solutions across supply chain management, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide solutions through the full lifecycle: requirements capture, high/low-level design, development, release, and sustainment.
- Support Head of Architect on critical decisions including buy/build/reuse evaluations, platform selection, estimates, and compliance with architecture frameworks, security, and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and technical discussions in a multi-supplier environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Solution Architect experience on large-scale projects with cross-domain deliverables (Business, Application, Data, Infrastructure, Security).
- Expertise in bespoke/COTS apps, integration (SOA, ESBs, EAI, XML, Web Services, MQ), event-driven architectures, and AWS cloud.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills; broad tech knowledge including databases, middleware, and security.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Desired Expertise
- Supply chain solutions: Integration Platforms, WMS, TMS, OMS, IMS, ERP, Procurement, Data Analytics.
- TOGAF/MODAF, Archimate, CMMI level 3.
Clearance & Location
BPSS pre-screening to start; SC clearance required. Based in Bristol, Gloucestershire, UK.

- Lead solution development through all delivery lifecycle phases: requirements, HLD, LLD, development, release, sustainment
- Support Head of Architect on design decisions: buy vs. build vs. reuse, platform selection, early-phase estimates
- Ensure compliance with design principles, architecture frameworks, technical, security, customer, and regulatory standards
- Support customer and stakeholder meetings and technical discussions
