We're hiring a talented IT Systems Administration Specialist for our Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems contract near Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. This onsite role supports complex IT operations with cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows, Linux, and appliance servers for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team leads to evaluate hardware/software options meeting functional requirements.
• Configure and optimize VDI environments for enhanced user experience and resource efficiency.
• Document and enforce hardware standards, IP addressing, and network setups.
• Handle network cabling, device configuration, hardware repairs, and Cisco routing/switching/firewall troubleshooting.
• Execute security hardening, patching, certificate management, and cloud integrations.
• Create detailed System Installation Plans, Admin Guides, and provide regular status reports.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's in IT/Computer Science + 8 years or Master's + 6 years experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II cert.
• VMware ESXi/virtual machines, 3+ years Linux/Windows, Cisco networks, IP subnetting expertise.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and up to 10% CONUS travel.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive network engineering/operations knowledge, ITIL certifications, advanced cloud (AWS/Azure) experience, and VMware Horizon VDI mastery.
