Role Overview

As JBAB Desktop Support Technician, provide leadership in IT support for hardware, software, and network configurations in a Windows 11 environment. Operate in a fast-paced setting ensuring zero downtime for national defense missions. Key duties include team mentorship, advanced troubleshooting, project management, and COOP support within a 300-mile NCR radius.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex IT issues and mentor team members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while enforcing schedules, metrics, and processes.
• Diagnose hardware/software problems, coordinate with stakeholders, and optimize performance.
• Manage moderately complex projects independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Utilize Remedy, ServiceNow, Remote Desktop, BEL Manage, and Bomgar for efficient service delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED +5 years or BS +1 year relevant experience.
• DoD-8140 IAT Advanced (Security+ CE+), active Secret Clearance.
• 5+ years Desktop Support with Windows 11 expertise.
• Familiarity with JBAB, 794th Comm Sq, 844th Comm Group, 11th Wing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military experience with senior leaders.
• Associates degree in related field.
