Leidos Health & Services Sector seeks a Junior Data Analysis Technical Contributor for the Department of Defense's personnel testing and assessment programs. This early-career role provides analytic support in data processing, statistics, and modeling for critical assessments like the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare datasets and execute basic statistical analyses under senior guidance.
  • Create preliminary tables, graphs, and summaries for research outputs.
  • Verify scoring accuracy and review data quality.
  • Document analyses for reproducibility and contribute to technical reports.
  • Develop and debug analytic code or tools in R, Python, or similar.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s in operations research, math, stats, economics, engineering, data science, or CS + 2 years experience OR Master’s degree.
  • Foundational stats knowledge; proficiency in R/Python/SAS/SPSS.
  • US Citizenship; eligible for DoD CAC, FBI check, NACI.
  • Location: 75% remote; must commute to Seaside, CA as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DoD or federal testing/recruiting experience.
  • Familiarity with psychometrics (CTT, IRT) or ASVAB processes.
  • Experience in statistical modeling or data visualization.
