Lead Distribution Engineer

Join Leidos' Power Delivery Services Team as a Lead Distribution Engineer in Framingham, MA. We're seeking a passionate professional dedicated to delivering exceptional electric utility design engineering. Work hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote), collaborating with internal teams and clients to uphold our reputation for quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical distribution work packages, including design, analysis, and programmatic projects like 3rd party attachments, reconductoring, and voltage conversion.
  • Perform QAQC on team designs and conduct client reviews.
  • Analyze scopes, maintain schedules, and provide direct client support.
  • Support construction phases with reviews and coordinate utilities, permits, and field data.
  • Contribute to team growth through future hiring processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years in electric distribution projects for utilities or consulting.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering (ABET accredited) or equivalent experience.
  • NESC proficiency, pole loading software expertise, and QAQC experience.
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle for travel (reimbursed), and field/office adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • QAQC leadership, cost estimation, BOM development, CIAC calculations.
  • STORMS/GIS proficiency, customer interaction history, prior leadership.
