Leidos is seeking a dynamic Lead Material Program Manager (MPM) for our Global Supply Chain team in Huntsville, AL, supporting the critical Common Hypersonic Glide Body (CHGB) mission. In this pivotal role, you'll partner as a Material Control Account Manager (CAM), sharing accountability for material cost control, baseline integrity, earned value performance, and execution against program milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Primary Material CAM on cost baselines, EAC/ETC, variance analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Align engineering changes with budgets and deliver material insights for Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
  • Ensure material readiness for manufacturing, drive supplier recovery for high-risk items, and lead risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, planning, supply chain, logistics, quality, and manufacturing.
  • Leverage ERP tools for tracking, reporting, and corporate obligations in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or related + 8 years (MBA/MS + 6 years).
  • 3+ years leading defense/high-complexity supply chain efforts.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills; self-starter mindset.
  • Experience with CAM, procurement, and on-site manufacturing preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain systems and material procurement (experience)
  • Proven project management and self-starter abilities (experience)
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills (experience)
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Support Primary Material CAM with cost baseline, EAC/ETC updates, variance analysis, and earned value performance
  • Analyze material cost/schedule variances and drive corrective actions with Program Management and Finance
  • Ensure engineering changes align with material budgets and provide inputs for PMRs
  • Drive material readiness for manufacturing, supplier performance recovery, and risk mitigation for long-lead items
  • Coordinate with planning, logistics, quality, manufacturing, and act as liaison to Program Management
  • Participate in Engineering Review Boards and leverage ERP tools for performance tracking and reporting
