Leidos has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Lead Software Engineer to deliver Agile DevOps support to mission-critical cybersecurity systems. Build robust systems leveraging cloud capabilities and gain hands-on agile experience in an enterprise environment. Participate in all software development lifecycle phases: scoping, architecture, design, coding, and testing. Ideal for candidates seeking TS/SCI clearance processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive software innovation with Java, JavaScript (React, Redux, Node.js), Python, or Bash.
- Engineer automated deployment solutions using DevOps tools.
- Prototype and deploy in AWS, Azure, or other commercial clouds.
- Follow SAFe Agile practices throughout development.
- Implement Ansible, Docker, Jenkins for CI/CD and containerization.
- Deploy artifacts across diverse customer environments.
- Leverage JIRA, Confluence, GitLab for collaboration and version control.
- Mentor juniors and advise Agile Team Leads.
Core Qualifications
- BS + 4+ years experience; US Citizen only.
- Agile team experience; strong communication.
- Proficiency in Linux scripting, databases (Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL), cloud platforms, DevOps tools, analytics (Elasticsearch, Splunk).
- Local to DMV area; MS Office skilled.
Preferred Skills
- ICAM expertise: LDAP, PKI, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, MFA.
- Identity management, SSO, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines.
