Key Responsibilities
- Lead HV/MV substation designs: basic layouts, electrical arrangements, one-line/three-line drawings, plan-sections, grounding, and AC/DC systems.
- Own projects end-to-end: technical design, staffing, schedules, budgets.
- Excel in client interactions and cross-discipline collaboration (Substation, Telecom, Civil/Structural).
- Mentor and grow engineering teams while driving quality and efficiency.
- Prepare proposals, scopes, estimates, and QC reviews for medium/large projects.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering; 8+ years substation design experience.
- Preferred: P.E. license, Master’s degree, project team leadership.

- Lead conceptual and detailed HV and MV Substation design including layouts, one-line, three-line drawings, grounding, and AC/DC systems
- Manage full project lifecycle including technical design, staffing, schedule, and budget
- Interact with internal teams and clients to meet project objectives
- Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of engineers, designers, and drafters
- Develop and review project proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates
- Perform Quality Control reviews on medium to large substation projects
- Continually improve team quality and efficiency
