Leidos, ranked in the Top 10 T&D and Power Firms by Engineering News-Record (ENR), offers REMOTE or HYBRID options, including our Charlotte, NC office. Candidates must be located in or able to relocate to the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contributor to substation protection and control design projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of engineers, designers, and drafters.
  • Take complete ownership of projects, managing financials, resources, and design.
  • Liaison, coordinate, and collaborate with external clients.
  • Continually improve design quality and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Contribute to design scope, philosophies, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Proven ability to lead projects aligning engineering with program management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • Experience leading project teams.
  • Substation physical design experience.
  • Field testing/commissioning experience.
