Join Leidos as a LIMS & IT Specialist in Vandergrift, PA

Leidos is seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Administrator to join our Energy & Environmental Division’s USACE FUSRAP laboratory team. This onsite position focuses on IT, LIMS, and laboratory database management at our Vandergrift, PA facility. Must pass a beryllium lymphocyte proliferation test (BeLPT) and hold US Citizenship or Permanent Residency for Public Trust clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and manage the LIMS database using Matrix Gemini and SQL, emphasizing instrument reporting and data gathering.
• Develop processes for incorporating sample data from instruments into LIMS.
• Provide user training and recommend technology changes to boost laboratory efficiency.
• Handle LIMS backups and electronic record storage oversight.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 5+ years laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Xybion Matrix Gemini LIMS.
• TSQL/SQL experience with queries and stored procedures.
• Strong technical database and user support skills.
• Team player with multitasking ability, self-motivation, and excellent communication.
