Leidos seeks an experienced Linux Systems Administrator for mission-critical infrastructure in a secure, classified environment. This junior-to-mid level role demands strong RHEL expertise, hands-on data center skills, and customer-facing communication to support government stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert RHEL administration for physical, virtual, and cloud hosts.
  • Assist users professionally with technical issues across applications and hardware.
  • Manage hardware lifecycles: racking, cabling, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Ansible for efficiency.
  • Support Enterprise Storage (IBM ESS/NetApp) and Kubernetes resources.
  • Maintain security posture, STIGs, RMF for ATO compliance.
  • Document procedures, runbooks; coordinate data center activities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in CS/IT + 5 years Linux experience (or equivalent).
  • Proven RHEL skills: install, patch, tune in data centers.
  • Hands-on hardware and automation experience.
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly; DoD 8570 IAT II cert; U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • RHCSA certification; Kubernetes/VMware/Windows experience.
  • Enterprise Storage and classified environment background.
