We're seeking a Load Balance Network Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to manage F5 load balancer technologies across global enterprise networks, including on-premises and cloud environments. Thrive in a collaborative team supporting critical IT operations for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous operation of SSL/TLS offloading and PKI authentication on F5 appliances.
- Perform regular backups of configurations and certificates per DOD policies.
- Proactively alert on certificate expirations and facilitate renewals.
- Engineer, manage, and resolve issues in load balanced IP spaces.
- Collaborate on technical solutions with engineers and architects.
- Deliver 24/7/365 after-hours support for outage troubleshooting.
- Maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation for IT Operations Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree +12 years, Master’s +10 years, or equivalent experience (Associate’s +14, HS +16).
- DoDM 8140.03 Intermediate certification (e.g., Security+ CE, Cloud+, SSCP).
- F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph (or TS/SCI + willingness to obtain).
- Proven F5 enterprise administration, PKI management, and independent customer support.
