Locksmith General Maintenance Technician - Night Shift Opportunity at Leidos
Join Leidos' National Security Sector in Augusta, GA, supporting critical Cyber & Analytics missions. This night shift role ensures secure facility operations in high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair, replace, and maintain locksets, hardware, and components for interior/exterior doors, including automatic openers.
- Troubleshoot equipment/facility issues and escalate to supervisors.
- Execute routine maintenance: painting, caulking, carpet installation, drywall patching.
- Perform carpentry, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication using hand/power tools.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specs; conduct inspections for asset upkeep.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (must obtain if not held).
- High School Diploma + 1 year relevant experience.
- Physical capability: lift 50lbs, climb ladders, access ceilings/floors with PPE.
Preferred Qualifications
- SCIF experience.
- Lockset/door hardware installation and repair expertise.
- Certifications: Master Locksmith, Professional Locksmith, Registered Locksmith.
