We're replacing legacy equipment with the advanced AN/SQQ-89(V)15 Anti-Submarine Warfare system, delivering logistics support, installation, testing, quality assurance, and training to boost fleet readiness and undersea warfare capabilities.
Position Overview
As an entry-level Logistics Analyst in Chesapeake, VA, you'll support the spiral development of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 hardware and software. Collaborate with engineering and logistics teams to manage system changes' impacts on logistics products, ensuring seamless lifecycle support.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Engineering Changes (ECs) for effects on logistics deliverables
- Focus on Configuration Management: develop and maintain product support documentation
- Ensure traceability across maintenance planning, supply support, and configuration items
- Contribute logistics expertise in system and design reviews
- Coordinate documentation updates with cross-functional teams
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; 0-2 years in logistics, config management, or technical projects (internships/co-ops count)
- Basic technical documentation skills and process adherence
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication
- DoD Secret Clearance eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance planning, provisioning, and config management
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, parts lists, and ECP reviews
- NAVSEA program familiarity
- Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Teams, Excel
