Leidos is seeking a skilled Manual Test Engineer to join our National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role supports a fast-paced, mission-critical program where you'll make a real impact on national security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct component, integration, and end-to-end system testing.
  • Write and execute detailed test procedures, evaluating software changes and defect resolutions.
  • Develop test data, acceptance criteria, and comprehensive test reports.
  • Collaborate across Software Development, System Engineering, Integration, Deployment, and Sustainment teams.
  • Utilize system admin skills in a physical test lab environment with elevated privileges.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field + 8 years experience (or equivalent).
  • Full SDLC testing expertise, including formal test events like Acceptance and Release Tests.
  • Experience with test labs, agile teams, and clear communication of results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BDD/TDD experience.
  • Automated test tools and scripting (Java, Python, shell).
  • SAFe Agilist or DevOps certification.

  • Collaboration with developers on formal test procedures (experience)
  • Working with physical equipment in test labs (experience)
  • Elevated privileges for test setup and execution (experience)
  • Agile environment experience (experience)
  • Strong communication with management and technical staff (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Perform component, integration, and system-level testing
  • Develop and execute system-level test procedures and reports
  • Evaluate software changes and verify defect fixes
  • Support software configuration management
  • Define test data and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with Software Development, System Engineering, Integration, Deployment, and Sustainment teams
