Leidos Defense Manufacturing seeks a skilled Material Control Analyst for our Huntsville, AL Platform Integration Facility (PIF). Join a team delivering innovative solutions for defense programs, ensuring on-time material availability for machining and assembly. Own outsourcing from order to delivery, coordinating with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Production Control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze MRP and schedules to prioritize materials for machining, processing, and assembly.
  • Manage PRs in Deltek Costpoint, track to POs, and secure supplier confirmations.
  • Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotes on cost, lead-time, quality, and compliance.
  • Monitor supply chain risks and provide mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Deliver status reports on open orders and supplier performance.

  • Assess risks like vendor capacity and delays, recommend mitigations
  • Provide material status updates to program managers and production teams
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure technical and quality standards are met
