Leidos is seeking a talented Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) Modeling and Simulation Engineer with an active DoD TS/SCI clearance to support critical missions at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) and National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on foreign satellite systems and C4ISR air platforms.
  • Evaluate and assess capabilities of adversary space and air systems.
  • Integrate space/air models, components, or full vehicles into existing SysML-based modeling environments using Cameo System Modeler.
  • Deliver precise, high-confidence solutions to complex problems in space and air domains.
  • Build and validate large-scale, reverse-engineered simulations of space vehicles and aircraft.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field with 4+ years of experience; or MS with 2+ years. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Proven expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML diagramming tools like Cameo System Modeler or IBM Rhapsody.
  • Solid knowledge of aerospace C4ISR systems.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently or in teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience at NASIC/NSIC with Intelligence Community models, all-source analysis, radars, aircraft, missiles, space vehicles, MATLAB, Simulink, or Simulink Coder.
