Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely threat assessments and vulnerability analysis in cyberspace.
- Perform forensic exams, malware reverse engineering, and TTP identification.
- Produce actionable intelligence reports, briefs, and leadership presentations.
- Develop signatures, heuristics, and MD5 hash lists for repositories.
- Conduct log analysis on routers, Windows, UNIX systems for threat hunting.
- Leverage open-source intel and all-source data for pattern detection.
- Publish risk assessments and refine categorization methodologies.
- Collaborate with USCYBERCOM teams on situational awareness and response.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- BA/BS in relevant field or equivalent experience/certifications.
- 5+ years in malware analysis, cyber ops, or related DoD experience.

Responsibilities

- Perform static/dynamic malware reverse engineering and file extraction
- Create technical reports, threat briefs, and presentations for leadership
- Develop MD5 hashes, signatures, and heuristics for threat detection
- Analyze logs/systems for threats and update DoD situational awareness
- Research open-source intel for threat assessments
- Collaborate across USCYBERCOM elements to enhance response capabilities
- Support crisis action teams and operational planning
