This on-site role in Odenton, MD, aids Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) and Joint Task Force-Ares (JTF-ARES) in identifying sophisticated malware targeting the DoD Information Network (DODIN).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely threat assessments and vulnerability analysis in cyberspace.
- Perform forensic exams, static/dynamic malware reverse engineering, and file extraction from media.
- Produce actionable intelligence reports, briefs, and leadership presentations.
- Identify indicators for signatures, maintain MD5 hashes, and analyze logs from routers, Windows, UNIX systems.
- Conduct all-source intelligence analysis for threat patterns, risk assessments, and TTP correlation.
- Collaborate across USCYBERCOM for enhanced response capabilities and crisis support.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Education/Training: BA/BS in relevant field or formal Media Malware Analysis training (or completable in 1 year); experience may substitute.
- Deep knowledge of APTs, adversary TTPs, and national security cyber trends.
