Make a real impact at Leidos National Security Sector, supporting USCYBERCOM in defending against evolving cyber threats. This on-site role in Odenton, MD, aids Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) and Joint Task Force-Ares (JTF-ARES) in identifying sophisticated malware targeting the DoD Information Network (DODIN).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely threat assessments and vulnerability analysis in cyberspace.
  • Perform forensic exams, static/dynamic malware reverse engineering, and file extraction from media.
  • Produce actionable intelligence reports, briefs, and leadership presentations.
  • Identify indicators for signatures, maintain MD5 hashes, and analyze logs from routers, Windows, UNIX systems.
  • Conduct all-source intelligence analysis for threat patterns, risk assessments, and TTP correlation.
  • Collaborate across USCYBERCOM for enhanced response capabilities and crisis support.

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Education/Training: BA/BS in relevant field or formal Media Malware Analysis training (or completable in 1 year); experience may substitute.
  • Deep knowledge of APTs, adversary TTPs, and national security cyber trends.

  • Perform static/dynamic malware analysis and reverse engineering
  • Create technical reports, threat briefs, and presentations for leadership

  • Analyze all-source intelligence for threat patterns and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with USCYBERCOM teams to enhance situational awareness
  • Support incident response policies and crisis action plans
