Key Role Details
Mission Ready Reserve MFLCs are local heroes, residing within 50 miles of Fort Wainwright for daily commutes. This backfill position supports an existing MFLC on leave, serving in dynamic environments: 60% indoor (military installations, schools, child development centers) and 40% outdoor (uneven terrain, weather exposure). Leverage NDAA licensure portability to serve anywhere in the U.S.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver face-to-face individual, couples, family, and child counseling.
- Use clinical skills for referrals and handoffs to resources.
- Present on social-emotional development for children.
- Engage at events to build trust with military communities.
- Tackle unique challenges: deployments, relocations, separations.
