Leidos National Security Sector seeks a cleared Mid Cartographic Analyst to support critical missions in Springfield, Virginia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your GIS expertise within a dynamic government-contractor team focused on cartographic production and analysis for national security.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver Electronic Nautical Chart (ENC) conversion, production, and review support.
• Execute cartographic and GIS functions for Digital Nautical Chart (DNC) production.
• Extract features from diverse sources including rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery.
• Maintain and update source data, catalogs, and related information.
• Perform data conversion and migration to support evolving mission requirements and developmental assignments.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5+ years relevant military or geospatial experience; or High School + 4 years + GPC Level I/II; or BS degree + 2 years experience.
• Strong background in geography, cartography, and GIS, including ArcGIS proficiency.
• Skills in creating shapefiles, geodatabases, and features.
• Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, GIS, geospatial techniques, and NGA data formats.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery sources for hydrographic products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior nautical or maritime experience.
